The Walrus Audio Fable Reverb / Granular Soundscape Generator is in New condition and made by Walrus Audio , it is a great Generator Soundscape Granular / Reverb Fable Audio Walrus Guitar Effect Pedal- The Walrus Audio Fable Reverb / Granular Soundscape Generator is a tool to transform your musical approach. It creates wild new soundscapes that can range from smooth ambient reverbs to chaotic glitchy swarms to spice up your sonic palette. To create these its equipped with top-end pedal architecture to voice your effect with both authenticity and accuracy. A powerful DSP combines delay programs which run in series with granular sampling algorithms – each with their own feedback path! This magical granular effect is a micro sampling of your signal where short samples (or “grains”) are read from a delay buffer. From there you modify the grains to create any number of unique sounds – manipulate their length their position and the buffer size from which theyre read! Thats not all though you can even adjust their speed and pitch or play them in reverse! The possibilities are almost endless with the Walrus Audio Fable so what kind of sounds will you generate? > . Available from Just Pedals for only £ 299 Create entirely unique soundscapes Armed with the Fables powerful pedal architecture you can create all-new groundbreaking sonics. From mellow and flowing ambience to randomised hailstorms of glitchy pulses the Fable will massively expand your creative toolkit. Your desired effect is achieved through the five program presets which determine how the Fable interacts with your signal: Program 1: Reverse Delay into Reverse Granular. Creates a complex and organically shifting soundscape adjust the Gain to take it from smooth reversed transients to stuttering reverse glitch madness. Program 2: Forward Delay into Octave Up Granular. Sample grains are played at double speed leading to swarms of double-speed grains building up to a cascade of sound. Program 3: Analog Delay into Octave Down Granular. Runs a warm dark analogue-style delay into an octave-down granular program to create thunderous and murky soundscapes. Program 4: Multi-Tap Granular into Multi-Tap Granular (Grain-Verb). Samples are played back from each granular buffer simultaneously. Multiple points of sampled sound build upon each other in the feedback paths to create glitchy clouds and unique organic reverberances. Program 5: Forward Delay into Randomised Pitch Granular. Each grain is played back at a randomly selected speed and direction varying between pitched up double speed pitched down half speed and normal speed. All that in addition to forward or reversed playback from grain to grain and pitch changes with each new grain to create utter tonal madness. The X control affects that rate of randomised pitch modulation. You can then fine tune each of these program modes with additional parameters to land on sounds ranging from mellow to monstrous! Quickly find your groove with Tap Tempo Easily find your funk. The Fable makes it easy to get your preferred sound going thanks to its Tap Tempo support. So youll have no trouble influencing and modifying the effect mid-performance adjusting the tempo on the fly to suit your music. Guitar Effect Pedal
A guitar pedal, also known as an effects pedal, is a device used by guitarists to alter the sound of their instrument in various ways. These pedals are typically small, foot-operated units that are connected in a signal chain between the guitar and the amplifier. They can modify the guitar’s tone, pitch, and dynamics by applying different effects such as distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, and more. Guitar pedals come in both analog and digital formats, and they allow musicians to create a wide range of sounds, enhancing their musical expression and creativity. They are essential tools for guitarists in genres ranging from rock and blues to jazz and electronic music.

Reverb
Reverb, short for reverberation, is a fundamental audio effect that simulates the sound reflections and decay that occur in physical spaces, such as rooms, halls, or chambers. It adds depth, dimension, and ambiance to audio signals, creating a sense of space and realism. In the context of guitar effects, a reverb pedal is a device that generates and applies reverb effects to the guitar signal. Here’s how reverb pedals work and some common features:
1. **Reverb Types**: Reverb pedals typically offer different types of reverb effects, including spring reverb, plate reverb, hall reverb, room reverb, and ambient or modulated reverb. Each type emulates the characteristics of different physical spaces and has its own unique sound and character.
2. **Controls**: Reverb pedals feature various controls for adjusting parameters such as decay time, pre-delay, damping, tone, and mix. Decay time controls the length of the reverb tail or decay, while pre-delay adjusts the time between the original signal and the onset of the reverb. Damping controls the high-frequency content of the reverb, simulating absorption in the virtual space. Tone controls the overall tonal character of the reverb, and mix adjusts the balance between the dry (original) and wet (affected) signals.
3. **Modulation**: Some reverb pedals include modulation effects such as chorus or tremolo that modulate the reverb tail, adding movement and depth to the sound. Modulation can create lush, swirling textures and enhance the overall ambiance of the reverb effect.
4. **Trail Function**: Many reverb pedals offer a trail function, which allows the reverb tail to continue decaying naturally when the effect is bypassed. This prevents abrupt cutoffs and ensures smooth transitions between affected and unaffected signal states.
5. **Spring Tank vs. Digital Reverb**: Reverb pedals can use either spring tanks or digital processing to generate reverb effects. Spring reverb pedals emulate the sound of vintage spring reverb units found in amplifiers, while digital reverb pedals use algorithms to simulate a wide range of reverb types and settings.
6. **Size and Form Factor**: Reverb pedals come in various sizes and form factors, from compact mini pedals to larger, feature-rich units. Choose a pedal size and form factor that fits your pedalboard layout and offers the desired features and controls for your needs.
Reverb pedals are widely used in various music genres, including rock, blues, jazz, ambient, and experimental music. They can add depth, warmth, and atmosphere to guitar tones, enhance the spatial imaging of recordings, and create immersive soundscapes for performances. Whether used subtly to add a touch of room ambiance or dialed in for dramatic, expansive effects, reverb pedals are essential tools for shaping guitar tones and creating captivating sounds.

Allows players to create lush, modulated, sleepy and ambient soundscapes Dark – add a lower octave to your reverb trail. Here you'll create deep and wide atmospheric sounds and channel nightmarish soundscapes. X knob sets the level of a -1 octave signal that feeds the reverb Rise – this is an auto-swell reverb for beautiful cinematic swells. Don't rush it. Let it breathe and gently wake up. X knob sets the amount of time It takes the reverb to swell in after a note is played. Set Lower for shorter rise times and higher for longer rise times Dream – here is a lush reverb with a latching pad function. Press the sustain switch to latch signal. Experiment with the X knob to add Vibrato over the pad. Press sustain again and pad will decrescendo according to where decay knob is set. X knob sets the depth of Vibrato applied to the reverb trail Lollipop Blue finish with light Blue and off white ink featuring original artwork by christi DU toit
