Electro Harmonix’s Pico Attack Decay Mini Pedal allows you to dial in masses amounts of swell and decay. With two unique modes: mono mode for a one volume envelope that accents you notes, and poly mode that gives each note a cascading swell effect with a smooth and agile attack for some pretty interesting sonic capabilities. The Pico Attack Decay mini pedal puts everything that made the original great into one compact and simplified pedal ideal for anyone wanting push their tone to the next level.

Powerful and easy to navigate, the Pico Attack Decay opens you up to new soundscapes by utilising the attack knob which sets the swell and fade-in speed of the volume envelope. Whereas the delay knob sets the fade-in-and-out of the volume envelope, giving you endless possibilities to experiment with. If it is large volume swells you’re after then crank up the attack controls, but if you’re wanting higher staccato notes for a more artificial and synthesised punch then crank up the decay. There’s even a hidden blend control that gives you the added bonus of blending wet and dry signals for a more flexible tone.

Specialist Effects Pedals

Specialist effects alter the signal in ways that do not sit cleanly inside one established family. They may use granular processing, frequency shifting, resonators, freeze or sustain, bit reduction, ring modulation, feedback networks or combinations of several techniques. The relevant distinction is the underlying process, its tracking or latency, and how completely the dry signal can be blended or replaced.

Mini Pedal

Uses a reduced-width enclosure to conserve pedalboard space. The smaller format can limit battery access, footswitch spacing and the number or size of controls, while side-mounted sockets and power placement determine how much space is actually saved once connected.
