The iconic Binson Echorec 2 Model T7E Echo Machine has been faithfully replicated in a luxury studio-grade pedal format. Control the speed of the drum echo with the included remote.

This pedal has been carefully engineered with the highest quality components to bring back legendary vintage echo to let you fully explore its tonal possibilities.

Key Features

  • Input Control – This control enables the Boonar Tube Deluxe to accept all kinds of instruments with various signal levels on the input.
  • Integration with Modern Technology – The Boonar Deluxe has a balanced and transformer-isolated DI wet output for the seamless integration with studio mixing desks and external recording equipment.
  • Fully Customisable – By using the onboard presets, an external tap tempo input, remote switching and expression pedal compatibility, along with full MIDI integration, customization is simple.
  • Remote Controlled – Control the clicker speed with the included remote
  • True Bypass – This pedal can be switched from true bypass or buffered bypass for full pedalboard flexibility. In Buffer mode, you can choose whether to create delay trails or not!
  • MIDI Controllable – Control individual parameters, control knobs and more with MIDI control.
  • Update with USB – USB mini-B connector is used for any future firmware updates.

Originally manufactured during the 1970s, The Boonar Tube Deluxe replicates the Binson Echorec 2 model T7E, famous for its magical four-tap tube magnetic echo which is heard on the legendary Pink Floyd songs “Interstellar Overdrive”, “Astronomy Domine”, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and “Time”.

Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the original Boonar, this deluxe version represents a leap forward in vintage echo emulation technology.

Immerse yourself in the authentic original Binson Echorec tone and experience the nostalgic echoes of yesteryears, all without the hassle of mechanical maintenance.

Controls and Tonal Exploration

Create tonal possibilities of the yesteryear with controls such as echo Volume, length of swell & even how the drum operates by setting the drum age and speed which adds sweet characteristics which is what the original Binson was known so iconically for.

Playback Head Combinations

The original Binson Echorec had a 12-position rotational switch that enabled selection of different playback heads and combinations for single and multi-tap delay. We wanted to overcome that limitation and added a separate playback heads switches for a maximum of 16 possible head combinations.

Tap Tempo LED

When Clicker switcher is connected to the pedal and “tap tempo switch” selected in Global settings menu, the TAP LED light will flash in tempo with the global delay time.

Swell/Repeats

Switches between standard Repeats mode – Multiple repetitions depending on the Length of Swell control potentiometer and a Swell mode which puts a part of signal from all four playback heads into the output mixer to produce those reverb-like, “cathedral tone” effects

External In – Why Not Control With An Expression Pedal?

The remote jack serves double duty as either an expression pedal input or remote footswitch input. There are four modes of operation to choose from in Global Settings menu: “Expression pedal”, “Tap Tempo switch”, “Repeats/Swell switch“ and “Bypass Switch“ mode.

MIDI Control

By using the fully-featured 5-pin DIN MIDI input, this provides support for receiving MIDI PC messages to save and recall up to 127 presets. Use MIDI CC messages to control the individual parameters of Boonar Tube Deluxe including all knobs, switches and buttons and MIDI Clock to sync the delay time with an external MIDI Clock source.

Delay

A delay pedal records your signal and plays it back after a set time, creating echoes that can range from tight, slapback repeats to long, atmospheric trails. It’s one of the most versatile effects, used to thicken tones, add rhythmic depth, or build spacious, ambient layers. Analogue delays offer warm, decaying repeats that blend naturally with your tone, while digital units provide pristine echoes with precise control over time, feedback, and mix levels.

From classic rockabilly and tape-style echoes to modern looping and shimmer effects, delay pedals have become essential tools for shaping sound. They can make solos soar, rhythms pulse, or transform simple chord progressions into cinematic textures. Whether used subtly to add dimension or boldly to create soundscapes, a good delay pedal can completely redefine the feel and atmosphere of your music.

DI

Expression

Expression pedals allow real-time control over specific parameters on compatible guitar pedals, such as volume, delay time, modulation depth, or filter sweep. Used with an expression input, they let players shape effects dynamically with their foot, adding movement and performance control that cannot be achieved with fixed knob settings.

Guitar Pedals

Your pedal is like a signature dish for your sound — a flavour-packed creation that transforms the bland ingredients of your guitar into something unforgettable. Each one adds its own seasoning, texture, and heat, turning a simple meal into a feast of tone.

These tasty little boxes sit in a row, like plates on a buffet, letting you mix and match flavours as you play. With one tap of your foot, you can swap sweet for spicy, subtle for smoky, and serve up something completely new. From the comfort food of warm overdrive to the fiery kick of fuzz, from smooth jazz sauce to heavy-metal spice, pedals give players a full menu of options to express their taste.  And just like with food, once you’ve tried one dish, you’ll want to sample them all.

Collecting, trading, and discovering new flavours soon becomes part of the joy of being a tone-loving gourmet geek with a guitar.

MIDI

MIDI pedals use the Musical Instrument Digital Interface standard to communicate with other guitar pedals, effects units, and hardware. They allow control over presets, parameters, and switching across multiple devices from a single controller. MIDI integration makes it possible to build complex, synchronised pedal setups while keeping control simple and consistent.

New

This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. New Gear always comes from trusted UK music retailers.

Overdrive

Like a golden layer of melted cheese — warm, gooey, and just put it all over. It adds just the right amount of richness and grit, turning a clean signal into something smooth and savoury. Designed to mimic the natural breakup of a tube amp pushed to its sweet spot, overdrive delivers the flavour of classic rock and blues in every bite. From creamy mid-gain warmth to crisp edge-of-breakup sparkle, it’s the comfort food of guitar tone — simple, satisfying, and endlessly versatile. Whether it’s a mild crunch or a full-bodied roar, overdrive is where good taste begins.

Reverb

A reverb pedal is like the rich sauce that ties every flavour on the plate into one smooth experience. It adds depth, warmth, and atmosphere — the sonic equivalent of a perfectly reduced glaze that lingers on the tongue. Whether you’re after the subtle ambience of a cosy café (spring or plate reverb) or the grand echoes of a cathedral (hall or shimmer reverb), this is where your tone breathes and expands. A touch of reverb can turn a dry sound into something lush and inviting — but pour on too much, and it’s all you can taste. Used with finesse, it’s the finishing touch that transforms your tone from plain to unforgettable.

Switcher

Switcher refers to a guitar pedal or pedalboard unit that allows multiple pedals or signal paths to be controlled from a single device. A switcher can turn several pedals on or off at once, change signal order, or recall preset combinations, helping players manage complex pedal setups cleanly and reliably, especially in live situations.

used

Volume

Volume pedals control the output level of a guitar signal using a foot-operated treadle. They allow smooth volume swells, dynamic control during playing, and easy muting between songs. Volume pedals can be placed at different points in the signal chain to either control overall loudness or adjust gain and drive behaviour when positioned before distortion or overdrive pedals.
