Description

The The GigRig QuarterMaster QMX-8 is in New condition and made by The GigRig , it is just a great QMX-8 QuarterMaster GigRig The Guitar Effect Pedal-

The GigRig QuarterMaster QMX is a pedal switcher that keeps your setup sounding crystal clear, whilst offering a massive amount of pedal control. Change between your pedal chain with ease to suit your tone.

Sound

You don't want to trade in tone for versatility. You'd much prefer the best of both worlds. The Quartermaster has completely true bypass relay technology, offering quiet switching and complete transparency.

Roadworthy Casing

The new GigRig OptoKick foot switches are up there as the most reliable in the world. Soft foot switching, so no loud clicks and extreme resilience to stomps. The aluminium casing is also truly tough and small enough to fit on any board.

Trust The GigRig to create roadworthy kit used by the likes of Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro, Ed O'Brien of Radiohead and Noel Gallagher.

Flip Flop Controlling

New to the QMX Quartermaster are flip flop switches. A small button next to each input and output set of loops provides even more control to picking effects at will. No more tap dancing.

Apply this function to as many loops as you want. It turns one loop on and another off at the same time. This is great, for example, when you have three pedals you only use one of at a time. Turn one off while you turn the other on, reducing one foot click from the process.

Features

  • Uses TheGigRig 'True Bypass' relay technology keeping your tone perfectly intact and your switching quiet.
  • Tough aluminium enclosure and small footprint will keep your pedalboard light and compact
  • Uses the new GigRig 'OptoKick' Optical Foot switch which we believe is the most reliable foot switch in the world.

Guitar Effect Pedal

A guitar pedal, also known as an effects pedal, is a device used by guitarists to alter the sound of their instrument in various ways. These pedals are typically small, foot-operated units that are connected in a signal chain between the guitar and the amplifier. They can modify the guitar’s tone, pitch, and dynamics by applying different effects such as distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, and more. Guitar pedals come in both analog and digital formats, and they allow musicians to create a wide range of sounds, enhancing their musical expression and creativity. They are essential tools for guitarists in genres ranging from rock and blues to jazz and electronic music.
