Strymon’s search for a fully analogue elusive experience is now over. The Ultraviolet delivers warm warble, rippling, wooshing tones that make your sound stand out for an expressive and indulgent sonic encounter. This compact stompbox is designed with those of you who are looking for an experiment psychedelic experience in mind. Strymon have captured the vintage vibes synonymously made famous by Hendrix and Pink Floyd respectively, giving you a varied and exciting ambient sound that will lock you in its mesmerizing trance.

The Strymon Ultraviolet Vintage Vibe produces some of the most hypnotic and dynamic soundscapes that you have ever heard from a chorus pedal. The newly developed Ultraviolet vibe algorithm takes all the elements of a classic optical vibe circuit and goes one step further to create a dynamic playing response to encapsulate the nuance of your playing for a truly unique tone.

The simple and responsive controls enable you to dial in more than just traditional sounds from a vintage vibe style pedal. The new Blend setting present inspiring and subtle effects to add extra flavour to the Chorus and Vibrato settings by adding more of a wet saturation. The Bias switch provides you with 3 distinct flavours to alter the shape and sweep of your sound for some intense sonic capabilities to take you to new heights. If it is a warm, extended rippling sonic vibration you’re looking for, then all you have to do is tweak the Speed controls that will elongate the input frequency for an angelic atmosphere.

The Ultraviolet will open the door for you experience a magnitude of ambient sonic capabilities, in one simple to use pedal that combines all the character of vintage circuits and develops them to create a new and unique boutique stompbox.

Specialist Effects Pedals

Specialist effects alter the signal in ways that do not sit cleanly inside one established family. They may use granular processing, frequency shifting, resonators, freeze or sustain, bit reduction, ring modulation, feedback networks or combinations of several techniques. The relevant distinction is the underlying process, its tracking or latency, and how completely the dry signal can be blended or replaced.

Analogue

The signal is shaped by continuously varying electronic circuitry rather than being converted into a digital effect algorithm. Component choice, operating voltage and circuit tolerances influence headroom, noise, clipping texture and the small variations in response between designs.
