Landlord FX
The Whiskey Chaser isn’t for the faint-hearted. It offers three distinct distortion modes, each with a unique flavour:
Hooch – natural distortion tone, like an overdriven vintage tube amp.
Bourbon – more modern, high-gain distortion, with tight low end and beefy mids.
Scotch – classic well-defined, vintage-sounding high-gain distortion
Landlord FX’s Frothy Head Echo uses cutting-edge sampling technology and a refined set of controls to bring you all the bounce, slap and echo you’ve ever dreamed of – and then some!
Tone City
The Tone City All Spark is a low-gain boost pedal, focused on providing a natural-sounding kick of volume to your signal. Using a very simple one knob and two switch control layout, you can fit the All Spark into any rig within minutes of getting it out of the box.
Compressor may not be the most obvious effect in the world, but the difference it can make to your tone when used correctly will surprise you. It is the silent wonder of the guitar world, which is why Tone City have designed their very own stompbox, the Comp Engine.
There are two very common ways to use a compressor. One method is by turning the threshold (comp control) up high, delivering a very squashed sound that brings out the attack in your notes and smooths the level out. Consistency is vital when playing chords or lead lines in metal music.
