Back in the 70’s EHX released a range of drum synths. These proved popualr and acheived a cult following, now thy’re making a triumphant return with, among others, the new Super Space drum. These are really great sounding additions to your rack/rig and can add in some cool extra sounds and effects. You can connect them to trigger pads, the EHX clockworks programmer box or an 8 stepsequencer for even more interiguing combinations.

A faithful reissue of the cult-classic released in 1979, the SSD uses analog synthesis techniques to create mind-blowing sounds ranging from deep kicks to high toms to sci-fi drums. Trigger it from the built-in pushbutton or an external (non-MIDI) electronic drum pad. Pass external sounds through the gated amplifier via the aux input. The Super Space Drum lets you create, control and manipulate a stunning array of synthesized sounds.
